Amazon and Flipkart platforms start hosting Festival sale 2019 in India

Ahead of the festive season, e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart have announced its Indian Festival Sale 2019. Both platforms are gearing up to host their respective festive sales of the year. While Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale will take place, Flipkart will host its Big Billion Days sale. The sale is scheduled to start from September 29 and will continue till October 4 on both platforms.


The Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale 2019 will have plenty of discounts on a wide range of electronic products like smartphones, TVs, consumer electronics and other items. Amazon Prime members will get an early access to the sale on September 28, starting from noon.


And Flipkart is all set to host its The Big Billion Days sale in India from September 29. The e-commerce giant has teased some of the best deals on mobiles and revealed other offers that will be available during the sale.


The companies promise to bring the lowest prices for products in the sale.


The six day sale will see offers and discounts on products across all categories. Prime members will get exclusive early access starting 12 noon on September 28. Customers will get deals on a wide selection of smartphones, laptops, cameras, large appliances and TVs, home and kitchen products, and so on.


The e-commerce giants said there will be up to 40% discounts on smartphones from the top brands during sale. There will be a discount of up to 75% off on home appliances and TVs.

Some of the top smartphones that will be up for heavy discounts and offers.


Apart from the heavy discounts, there will be no-cost EMI offers.


There will be an extra cashback on online payment and a wide range of exchange offers.


Flipkart will offer attractive prices on best-sellers like Redmi Note 7S, iPhone X, Realme 5, Vivo Z1 Pro, Pixel 3a, Redmi K20 Pro. Motorola's recently launched One Vision will be up for grabs at Rs. 14,999, which is Rs. 8,000 down from its original marked price. Samsung's last year's flagship phone, the Galaxy S9 Plus, will be up for grabs at Rs. 34,999 (MRP: Rs. 70,000). The Realme 3 Pro will be available at Rs. 11,999 as against its regular price of Rs. 15,999.


Amazon says 4K TVs will start at ₹19,999 per month during the sale which will also see over 6,000 deals across 200 consumer electronics brands including HP, Canon, boAT and Lenovo. Up to Rs 40,000 off on top premium laptops; enjoy up to 12 months no-cost EMI on laptops from top brands. Minimum Rs 10,000 off DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Up to 60% off on headphones and speakers.


For this Big Billion Days sale, Flipkart has tied up with Axis Bank and ICICI Bank to offer an instant discount to the banks' credit and debit card users.


On the other side, Amazon customer can avail an instant discount when using SBI debit and credit cards. There will be no-cost EMI options for debit card and Bajaj Finserv customers as well.
